- Launched in June 2022, is a US-led alliance comprising 14 developed countries.
- Also known as the Critical Minerals Alliance, MSP aims to ensure secure supply chains for critical minerals through production, processing, and recycling.
- It seeks to reduce China’s dominance in critical mineral supplies globally.
- Member countries include the US, Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Republic of Korea, Sweden, UK, European Commission, Italy, and India—the only developing nation in the alliance.
